Food is one of lifes greatest treasures. So when I find amazing food, I treasure it even more.
Last week I had the opportunity to try out Lot 1’s new summer menu and man was I impressed.
LOT. 1 Sydney is a three level establishment that fuses the affluence and luxury of vibrant interiors with Chef Swanson’s modern take on Italian favourites and impeccably attentive service to bring a timeless style to Sydney’s CBD.
Restaurant, chefs table & espresso bar, basement lounge.
I’m a massive fan of set-menus and degustations so already I was super excited. PLUS the food did not disappoint. (If this isn’t your thing, don’t fret, they also have an À la carte menu.)
They had such a great array of flavours and proteins, which makes me very happy.
8 delicious courses, and matching wines had me swooning. All the food was amazing but my personal favourites were:
Oysters
Vitello Tonnato
& Squid Ink Gnocchetti.
That being said, I’d happy eat all the dishes again!! I’m definitely glad I saved space for such a delicious lunch. If you ever get the chance to head to LOT.1 go for it!
Not only that, but the staff are all so lovely and are great to chat to!
I can’t wait to go back.
