Winter Essentials: My Favourite Cape!

When it comes to cold weather, Melbourne sure knows how to bring home the goods!
Although it has been a rainy, cold week, I hope you all have had a good one (staying super toasty).
For me, I’m loving the hot drinks a little too much!

As we all know, winter can be pretty rough.
However, one thing I absolutely love about winter: the clothes.

I definitely recommend investing in a nice warm coat!
I am really loving capes. However, it is really difficult to find a good quality cape.
A lot of brands make cheap capes, however, the materials they make them with look very cheap and also tend to attract fabric fibres which makes them look even worse!!

Currently, my go to brand for capes is Cue.
Cue is an Australian owned brand. My favourite thing about them is that the majority of their clothes are made right here in Australia!

If you are ever looking for quality Australian made clothing (whether for work or play), these guys are the best!

I was very fortunate enough to be able to purchase a cape from them.

One thing you will find, when it comes to coats, they only make a finite amount, and generally do not restock once sold out.

Recently I purchased a grey wool blend cape from their online store, as they had completely sold out in store within 2 days of it being available.
Trust me when I say this, if you see a cape you love, you better pounce on it!

My favourite outfit combination! Cue cape (Made in Australia), Witchery Knit (Italian Yarn), Levis, Habbot Boots (Made in Italy), Cara Mulberry Bag (Made in England) Photo Taken with my Samsung Galaxy S6

The cape is absolutely beautiful, Made in Australia from Italian sourced blended wool.
I love knowing that the possibility of me seeing someone with the same cape is extremely slim. If I am investing in my clothing, I feel the price needs to match the quality and rarity of the item. For Cue, you definitely get value for your money!

Do you have a favourite coat or jacket? Would love to hear your thoughts!

Thanks for reading. ‘Til next time….

Take care and stay fabulous,
