Last week I got to take the Vaniday app for a spin. Essentially the app enables you to book in beauty appointments from your mobile or devices and also pre-pay before your appointment! Beauty and Wellness, anytime, anywhere!

Some of the treatments you can get done:

• Hair
• Nails
• Makeup
• Aesthetics
• Hair Removal
• Massage
• Spa
• Barber…the possibilities are endless!

Recently launched in Melbourne, however has been available in many countries globally since their launch in March 2015, with Australia being the 6th country to get involved.

How it all works:
First go to “Vaniday” in Google Play or App Store:
• Discover beauty & wellness services in your area.
• Book your appointment right off the salon’s calendar.
• Get immediate confirmation.
• Option to Pay pre-treatment, or pay after

I really like the idea of this service. I am a bit of a hair noob, so by pre-paying I knew exactly what costs to expect for the treatment.
I decided as it is a new year after all, I should get my hair chopped and a new colour!
I booked it through the app and chose to go to Zucci in South Melbourne (based on the wonderful reviews).
I felt very pampered with a lovely massage and some tea and biscuits. Had my hair cut by the lovely Ray-Ray and dyed by the lovely Ashlyn! The staff and salon have won numerous awards, and I can definitely see why. (Both were fantastic, and I never knew that getting your hair done could be as fun as this!)
