Melbourne is a wonderful city, and what better way to enjoy the city than to have your own serviced apartment within walking distance to many attractions, and close to public transport.
Last weekend @Melbourne_Food_Finds and I were invited to stay a night at The Sebel Docklands and enjoy a romantic night away.
To give you a bit of background, The Sebel is 4.5 Stars Apartment Hotel, just on the edge of Docklands, surrounded by some pretty amazing restaurants including the highly rated Berth Restaurant and Bar, which we also visited during our stay.
The Sebel offers the service you’d expect from a hotel, with the space and luxury of apartment style living.
We checked in and parked our recent review car, the brand new BMW M140i Performance Edition (Australian Exclusive; Review Coming Soon)- in the available car parking facilities next door to the hotel.
We arrived at the apartment (One Bedroom, King Deluxe Room) to find a bottle of delicious red wine (my weakness) and some chocolates- which we both enjoyed before setting off to our dinner date at Berth Restaurant and Bar and exploring the city night life.
Before dinner, we had a wander around the hotel and found some beautiful sights, as well as some really great facilities. Turning to Noah I said, ‘This is why I ALWAYS pack bathers’.
Cool things to check out while at the hotel:
- The AMAZING glass bauble feature in the lobby. So stunning!
- Pool, Spa, Gym & Sauna
- Library & Work Area
- Rooftop (with outdoor tennis court & BBQ Area)
- Cafe & Restaurant
The apartment we had, had a lovely view of Docklands Marina, as well as a outside table and chair we enjoyed our wine and chocolates.
The apartment also had great amenities such as washing machine, dining area and kitchen, desk plus lounge area to kick back in!
Perfect for a romantic getaway, or just to kick back and enjoy the city life!
